During my recent travels, I had the opportunity to stay at Tenikwa Wildlife Centre in Plettenberg Bay. Although I was not able to experience the wild cat tour, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel itself. As a frequent traveler, I often find myself in need of a convenient transit hotel, and Tenikwa Wildlife Centre offers just that. With the nearest airport only 32 km away, it was incredibly convenient for me to get to and from the hotel without any hassle.
There was no mention or explanation of this on the hotel's website, which left me feeling a bit disappointed.

We got great value for our money and the rooms were spacious and clean. The location was fantastic, close to other attractions like Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, and more. The staff at Tenikwa treated us like family, they were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help.
The breakfast menu could be improved with more variety and options.

Wow, what an amazing experience! the location of this place is absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful nature and wildlife. the staff were super friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. the rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. And the best part? We got to have breakfast right next to the cheetahs! Such a unique and memorable experience.
Okay, so there were a couple of minor downsides. the meals could have been better.

We had a delightful stay at Tenikwa Wildlife Centre. As a family, we stayed in the family suites for a few nights and were impressed with the proximity to the cheetah enclosures and the boma where meals are served. The rooms were clean and welcoming, with everything we needed for our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. We particularly enjoyed the braii dinner and breakfast watching the cheetahs. The guided tour of the center exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend supporting their mission.
We can recommend this hotel.

The staff at Tenikwa were very attentive and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. The Eco Kidz tour with Ash was excellent, and we had a great experience being surrounded by animals and the night sky. The accommodations exceeded our expectations, with hot breakfast, TV, and good WiFi. The evening Boma was sociable and enjoyable, and all the staff were very attentive. The surrounding area is beautiful and has a lot to offer.
We felt right at home during our stay, with no complaints.

Stayed at Tenikwa in Plettenberg Bay. Loved the accommodation, especially the garden and terrace. Had a great time at the bar, enjoying drinks while soaking up the atmosphere. Private parking was a bonus.
Who needs a chef anyway? The guides doubling as cooks was a culinary disaster.
